Flexible gate access for a high-traffic manufacturing floor.
A leading carpet manufacturer needed to strengthen pedestrian and forklift separation across its manufacturing facility. The site presented tight walkways and restricted overhead clearance in several areas, so any gate solution had to work within those spatial limits while keeping disruption to production to a minimum.
Barrier Group specified a mix of gate types matched to each pinch point on site. A Ball-Fence Roller Gate was installed where floor space was tightest, sliding linearly along the fence line rather than swinging into the walkway. A Telescopic Boom Gate was used in sections with restricted overhead clearance, extending or retracting to suit the layout. Manual Swing Gates controlled entry for authorised personnel and vehicles, reduced to 2.5 metres in length and fitted with a locking pin for added control.
