No Single System Fits All
At Barrier Group New Zealand, we understand that no single safety solution fits every application; that’s why we offer a range of purpose-built barrier systems – giving you the flexibility to choose the right protection for your environment.
The FlexGuard™ Polymer Barrier range is a flexible and modular system designed to protect valuable assets and pedestrians in industrial environments where material handling vehicles and equipment operate. Engineered with New Zealand workplace safety and durability in mind, the range supports dynamic operations without compromising performance.
PAS13 Compliant and Certified by TÜV
PAS 13 is the leading global Code of Practice for safety barriers, developed by the British Standards Institution (BSI). Our FlexGuard™ barriers are tested using dynamic, real-world simulations to ensure they consistently meet performance standards.
TÜV is one of the world’s most respected independent testing organisations – our FlexGuard™ barriers demonstrate proven compliance.

Triple-Layer Technology for Superior Impact Absorption
Impact-tested and designed to flex, absorb and rebound, The FlexGuard™ Polymer Barrier range is made from engineered Polymer blends across three distinct layers which allows for flexible recovery, enabling it to absorb energy upon impact and return close to its original shape.
This unique material composition helps minimise damage to both the barrier and the impacting vehicle or equipment.
Effortless Integration for Comprehensive Traffic and Infrastructure Security
The FlexGuard™ Polymer Barrier range helps delineate and segregate pedestrian and vehicle traffic, shield infrastructure such as buildings, machinery and equipment, and integrate seamlessly with other physical barrier systems to create a robust, turn-key safety solution in the workplace. Designed for internal use and external use in non-direct UV exposure areas.
Logistics/3PL
Automated Guided Vehicle routes, forklift lanes, stacking zones, and pedestrian zoning.
Manufacturing
Heavy vehicle movement where shock-absorbing protection is required.
Food and beverage
Corrosion-resistant environments where non-food contact hygiene is critical.
Warehousing
Scalable and flexible layouts requiring adaptable barriers and shelving or pallet protection.
Distribution
Loading docks and back-of-house zones where people, vehicles, and goods converge.
Cold / chilled storage
Temperature-controlled environments where tolerance between 0° and 5° is essential.
Airports
Controlled-zone airside and baggage handling areas requiring impact protection.
